SULLIVAN

--Mrs. Amelia Sullivan, who lived about four miles southwest of Farmington, in Missouri, committed suicide Friday of last week by saturating her clothing with coal oil and setting fire to it. While her husband was at work in the barnyard she prepared for the suicide, went out into the garden, touched a lighted match to her oil-soaked clothes, and when her husband found her all her clothes were burned off, including her shoes, and her body was charred. It is thought that the deed was done in a fit of temporary insanity. The victim's mother has been insane for several years.
