MRS. ALICE MURDOCK.

MILTON. - Mrs. Alice Murdock, 87, died at the St. Joseph hospital in Keokuk this morning.

She had been a resident of the Watts nursing home for some

time and entered the hospital Monday afternoon.

She is the mother of the Rev. Reynolds Murdock, who is serving as an army chaplain in Japan. She also leaves a daughter, Mrs. Violet Casady of Brush, Colo., who arrived here Friday, and several other children.

The body is at the Brown funeral home here.
