Saturday Rites For Julian Roth

Julian A. Roth, Louden Machinery Co. employee, died yesterday afternoon at the Jefferson County hospital where he had been a patient since suffering a heart attack 11 days ago. Roth, 62, made his home at 906 W. Briggs street.

Funeral services will be held Saturday 10:30 a.m. at the First Methodist church in charge of Dr. L.L. Weis. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Weston Behner Funeral home until 9:30 a.m. Saturday.

Roth was born at Farmington Feb. 19, 1892, the son of John and Minnie Nutbaum Roth. He was married to Weltha Mae Gibson Jan. 24, 1923 at Keosauqua.

He is survived by his wife and one daughter, Mrs. Verla Irene Manley, Fairfield. Three grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters also survive: George Roth, Tyron, Okla.; Henry Roth, Farmington; Mrs. Matilda K. McGreevy, Bloomfield, and Mrs. Emma Snider, Donnellson.

Roth was a member of the First Methodist church.
