Edna Pearl Harmon

Edna Pearl Harmon, 78, died January 28 at 10:30 p.m. at the Van Buren County hospital, where she had been admitted, she had been a patient in a Keosauqua Nursing home since June 1961.

She was born at McPherson, Kansas, October 16, 1883, the daughter of Sylvester and Harriett Thomas Chapin.

On December 21, 1907 she was united in marriage to Thomas Harmon of Milton.

She is survived by her husband and two nephews, Ray Thomas of California and Rexford Thomas of Fort Madison.

Funeral services were held Jan. 30 at 2 p.m. at the Wellborn Funeral Home in Milton. Rev. Richard Eis of the Methodist Church officiating.

Burial was in the Sunnyside Cemetery.
