Death of J.F. Harbidge

Sunday, Jany. 16, 1919, J.F. Harbidge passed away after a five days' illness of influenza and pneumonia. He will be greatly missed by everyone as he was one of the leading business men of Cantril. A large crowd attended the short services held at the home Sunday a.m., conducted by Elder Criley, after which the remains were taken to Lawn Ridge, Mo., where services were held at two o'clock, burial in the family cemetery near the church. The family has been sorely afflicted as his wife and son Burr and family are just recovering from influenza and were not able to attend the burying. His aged mother and his brother Lee of Pulaski were the only ones of his immediate family who were able to go. His youngest son is across the waters somewhere in France.
