Mrs. Flora E. Sperbeck, 85, resident of Ottumwa 29 years, died at the Ottumwa hospital at 11 a.m. Wednesday. She had been seriously ill two years and critical for six weeks. She lived at 2322 East Main Street.

She was the daughter of Joseph and Martha Nelson and was born in Van Buren county March 27, 1868. She had lived near Douds before moving to Ottumwa. Her marriage to Louis Sperbeck took place March 21, 1893. He survives. Also surviving are three nieces and two nephews.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Leando Methodist church. The Rev. Robert G. Farr will be in charge. Burial will be in the Leando cemetery. The body is at the Campbell funeral home in Eldon.
