Margaret (Margie) Denly, 52, of Farmington died at 11:25 p.m. Wednesday, December 22, 1999, at her home. She had been ill for six years.

She was born December 23, 1946, at Salem, Missouri, the daughter of Earl and Anna Welch Counts. She married Bill Denly September 7, 1963.

She was owner/operator of Margie’s Kwik Mart in Farmington.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Amie Bradley of Peach Tree City, Georgia and Billy Alderton of Kahoka, Missouri and a son, Rober Denly of Farmington; five grandchildren; brothers and sisters Bonnie Parks, David Counts, Jim Counts, Shirley Jacobs, Dennis Counts, Ricky Counts, Mickey Counts, Kenneth Reed, Mark Counts and her stepmother, Joy Anderson of Fort Madison.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, her stepfather and one brother.

Funeral services were held Sunday, December 26, at Hofbauer Funeral Home, Farmington, with Gary Payne officiating. Burial was in Greenglade Cemetery, Farmington.
