NEAFIE FUNERAL.

Farmington. - Funeral services for George Neafie 68, were to be at 2:30 p.m. today at the Farmington Congregational church with the Rev. Russell T. Rauscher of Ft. Madison officiating. Burial was to be in a Farmington cemetery.

Mr. Neafie suffered a stroke Monday morning and died about noon. He had been a resident of Farmington for more than 30 years. At one time he published a weekly newspaper here. He had also worked on newspapers in Keosauqua, Bonaparte and Ft. Madison. For several years he had been nearly blind.

Surviving are his widow, a son, Walter Neafie of Burlington, a daughter, Mrs. Amost Hand, of near Indianapolis, Ind., and a granddaughter, Nancy Nola Neafie of Burlington.
