Charles N. Warner was born near Utica, Iowa, December 7, 1863, and died at his late home, west of Stockport, early Sunday morning, September 7, 1919, at the age of 55 years and 9 months. His death followed a long illness, during which time he bravely fought to regain his health and was ever hopeful of so doing. He was married to Nettie A. Arnold, September 12, 1888. To this union were born one son and two daughters: Johnnie L., whom God plucked as one of His flowers at the age of two years; Mrs. Vera Talbott and Eldena M. These, with their mother and two little grandchildren, Riginald and Josephine; one sister, Mrs. Lizzie Brady, of Milton, Iowa, are left to mourn his departure. Also a host of other relatives and friends. He confessed his Savior and became a member of the Christian church in Stockport several years ago. He expressed himself as being ready when his Maker saw fit to call him. He loved his home and friends, was a kind loving husband and father, and a good neighbor. He will be greatly missed in his community. Funeral services were held at the late home on Monday afternoon and interment was in the Miller Chapel cemetery.
