Anton Neis, 68, Dies in Charles City

Former Keosauqua Engineer Is Survived by Wife, Daughter, 4 Sisters and 3 Brothers.

Anton Neis, a former Keosauqua resident, died at Charles City Sunday night. He was 68 years old. For many years he was engineer of the Keosauqua electric light plant.

Survivors include his wife, Hattie; daughter, Francis, four sisters, Mrs. Emma Peterson of Northville, S.D., Miss Maude Neis and Mrs. Eva Lynch of Paso Robles, Calif., and Mrs. Bessie Keller of La Crosse, Wis., and three brothers, Louie Neis of Charles City, Dr. Carl Neis of Mt. Sterling and James Neis of Keosauqua.

James Neis went to Charles City and remained for the funeral, which was held today.
