Death of Mrs. Mark baker

Through telegraph and telephone systems news came to Miss Lute Kinersly about 3 o'clock Tuesday morning of this week that Mrs. Mark Baker passed away that night at her home in Chicago. Mark grew to manhood in Keosauqua and with is wife has made frequent visits to the old home town for which is love never wanes. In these visits Mrs. Baker made many friends who learned fully to appreciate her sterling qualities. Hence her sad taking-off is a source of deep regret. Mark has the sympathy of all Keosauqua.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at Fairfield and burial in Evergreen cemetery where her parents and possibly other members of the Shaffer family rest.
