Mrs. Catherine B. Pease, wife of the late Senator James B. Pease died April 30 at the home of her daughter in Washington, Pa. For a number of years Mr. and Mrs. Pease were residents of Harrisburg township, and it was during that time that he was elected state senator. Mrs. Pease was eighty years old. Her son, Emory [missing word] lives at Sharon.

Note: Year not given but position in scrapbook suggests 1907.
