MRS. SARAH SCHREINER

Sarah Georgiana Parker Schreiner, the youngest child of Sidney and Margaret A. Parker, was born and grew to womanhood at Bonaparte, and passed away at the home of her sister, Mrs. Minnie Ryland Ware, two miles northeast of Bonaparte, at 3:15 a.m. January 1, 1938.

On Nov. 21st, 1900, she was married to M.O. Schreiner of Mt. Pleasant, where they made their home for a number of years. Soon after she moved to Mt. Pleasant she became a member of the Presbyterian church of the city. In the year 1905 she moved with her husband to Ottumwa where they lived until his death, Feb. 25, 1935. After her residence had been established in Ottumwa she united by letter with the First Presbyterian church of that city. She has been in failing health since the death of her husband, and has lived with her sister since that time. During the years of her illness she continued to be cheerful in spite of her suffering.

She leaves to mourn her going one sister, Mrs. Minnie Ryland Ware, a number of other relatives and a host of friends in all the communities in which she has lived.

The funeral was held at 2 o’clock Monday afternoon, at the Page Funeral Home in Bonaparte with the Rev. Winfrey in charge.
