ANOTHER DEATH

On Thursday evening at 7 o'clock, occurred the death of Mrs. Sarah Van Dorn, wife of Wm. Van Dorn. Mrs. Van Dorn had been ill several months and her death was not unexpected. Mrs. Van Dorn's maiden name was Sarah O'Hara, and she was born in August, 1831. She went with her husband to California during the gold excitement of the 50's, and they were quite successful there. They have been residents of Bonaparte 35 years or more, Mr. Van Dorn being formerly engaged in the grain business. Mrs. Van Dorn was a member of the Presbyterian church, and was respected by all.

The funeral was held at the residence of her son-in-law, Mr. Phil Eich, Monday, and was largely attended, Rev. W. H. Scofield officiating.
