Death of Miss Ella Johnson.

Miss Ella Johnson, of Bonaparte, died of heart trouble Sunday last at 7 a.m. She was born at Bonaparte June 29, 1855, and was the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Johnson of that place. She had been in poor health for about nine years. She bore her affliction patiently, however, and was good and pleasant and cheerful always, never thinking or speaking ill or any one. The funeral was held Monday afternoon. The services were conducted by Rev. D. H. Read of the Presbyterian church, and were very appropriate and comforting. The attendance at the funeral was large. Her family is one of the oldest in Bonaparte , and for them much sympathy is expressed in this sad bereavement. Mrs. Geroge F. Smith, of Keosauqua, is a sister of the deceased.
