Frank Hawk

Frank Hawk, son of Solomon and Margaret Hawk, was born in Van Buren County, Iowa, July 26, 1875, and passed away quite suddenly April 28, 1936 while at work.

He was united in marriage with Minnie Wells July 5, 1918. His entire life was spent in and around Bentonsport with the exception of a few years in Illinois.

He leaves to mourn his departure his widow; one sister, Mrs. Fannie Auzen, of Bonaparte, Ia.; one brother, James, of Bentonsport. His father, mother, five brothers and four sisters preceded him in death.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Robert G. Alexander, of Bonaparte at the home of Mr. Hawk's sister, Mrs. Fannie Auzen, of Bonaparte Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial was made in Bonaparte cemetery.
