John B. Downard

John B. Downard of Chicago, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Downard of Keosauqua, died Monday morning at the home of his sister, Mrs. Robert Vickerman of Chicago at the age of 25. He has been ill several weeks. His mother was with him at the time of his passing.

Funeral services will be held at the Christian church in Keosauqua on Thursday afternoon conducted by Rev. Edna M. Fellows with interment in Millers Chapel cemetery.

He is survived by his parents, six brothers, Kenneth of Keosauqua, Orlan who is in the army, Dale who is with the Pacific fleet, Roy, who is in the navy and stationed at Great Lakes, and Robert at home; also four sisters, Mrs. Carl Daniels and Mrs. Robert Vickerman of Chicago and Roberta and Marguerite Downard at home.
