DAN LAWRENCE

Dan Lawrence died Tuesday, Oct. 28, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Wm. Swartz, near Memphis, Mo. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at Barker church. His age was 73.

Surviving are two sons and three daughters, William Lawrence of Downing, Mo., George Lawrence of Milton, Mrs. Nellie Hunter of Mt. Zion, Iowa, Mrs. Daisy Daugherty of Blakesburg, Iowa, and Mrs. Edna Swartz of Memphis. His wife, formerly Hezzie Gordy, preceded him in death. He was also preceded by one daughter.

He is also survived by three sisters, Mrs. Sadie Kerr of Bonaparte, Mrs. Hattie Corrick of Benedict, Minn., and Mrs. Cassie Holt of southern Mo.

Mr. Lawrence had been a frequent visitor in the home of his sister, Mrs. George Kerr, of Bonaparte.
