Mrs. Samuel Harbin.

Florence Duncan was born at Milton, Iowa, May 10, 1853, and departed this life March 15, 1934, at the age of 80 years, 10 months, 5 days.

She was united in marriage to Samuel Harbin, January 22, 1874. The first few years of their married life were spent near Milton, Iowa, later moving to Nebraska where they resided for five years, then coming to Mt. Sterling, Iowa, in 1902 to make their home until the death of her husband. For the past ten years she has made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Willis Thomas of Keosauqua, Iowa.

Mrs. Harbin was of a kindly and retiring disposition, congenial and energetic, and was held in high esteem by all those who knew her. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Willis Thomas of Keosauqua; two sons, Glenn, of Chicago; and Orie, of Los Angeles, Calif.; 7 grandchildren and three sisters, Mrs. Wm. McManus, of Selma, Ia., Mrs. Robert Corrick and Mrs. Jasper McManus, of Bloomfield, Ia., who with a host of friends mourn her passing.

Funeral services were in charge of Rev. Hayes at the home Monday, at 10 a.m. Burial in Harness cemetery.
