EMMA E. BOYER
Emma E. Boyer, daughter of J.D. and Missouri Robinson, was born at Sandusky, Iowa, Sept. 2, 1858, and passed away Feb. 1, 1944, after a few hours of illness. She came to Farmington when a girl of 15 and lived there until her death.
She was united in marriage with William T. Boyer, Dec. 4, 1887, in Farmington. She was a member of the Congregational church of Farmington, having joined April 7, 1907.
The near relatives are seven nieces and two nephews. Only two of the relatives were able to be present, Mrs. Hermuth of Ft. Madison and Mrs. A.C. Bridges of Kahoka.
Mrs. Boyer lived an active life until the end. She was a kindly friendly person respected by all who knew her.
Funeral services were held in Farmington Methodist church Thursday afternoon conducted by the pastor, Rev. John S. Ellis. Interment in Farmington cemetery.
