Mrs. Lucy Baggott

Lucy Stover, daughter of Barbara Griner and Jacob M. Stover, was born June 7, 1859, at Pulaski, Iowa, and departed this life at her home at Keosauqua, Iowa, May 10, 1934, aged 74 years, 11 months and 3 days. The immediate cause of her death was a fall, resulting in a broken hip, which caused intense suffering, borne with great patience and resignation throughout the two weeks before death brought release.

In early life she was united in marriage with Ernest Baggott and to this union, five children were born, four of whom survive their mother. Funeral services were conducted at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Bessie Murdock, of Milton, on Friday, May 11, at 4 o'clock p.m. by the Rev. W.B. Ireland, of the Methodist Episcopal church, after which she was laid to rest in the cemetery at Milton.
