Chester Cramblit
Chester Cramblit, son of Dora and John Cramblit, was born at Pulaski, Davis county, Iowa, March 30, 1910, and departed this life, March 31, 1935, at the Graham hospital at Keokuk, following an operation for appendicitis with complications of plural pneumonia.
He was united in marriage Sept. 27, 1930 to Alice Bell Holmes, of Bonaparte, to which union two sons were born, Robert Chester, age 4 and Thomas Alfred, age 2.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Harold J., and one sister, Eva Mae.
He leaves to mourn his departure his devoted wife and two sons, his mother and father, five brothers, Arthur, Lester and Beryl, of Bonaparte, Leo of Farmington and Edd of Caldwell, Idaho; three sisters, Hazel Cramblit, Mrs. Bruce Hufford and Mrs. Elba Poling, all of Farmington, also one little nephew, Junior Dean Cramblit, of Bonaparte and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was a kind and loving husband. His greatest interest was his devoted wife and two little sons. He will be sadly missed by his loved ones and all who knew him.
He was a member of the Nazarene church of Farmington. He bore his suffering with great patience and at the last he told his loved ones that Jesus was coming to take him home.
Funeral services were held Tuesday morning, April 2, from the Baptist church in Bonaparte, Rev. Strong of the Nazarene church of Montrose officiating. Interment was in the Bonaparte cemetery.
