George Albert Bowman
George Albert Bowman, son of H.E. and Anne Ellery Bowman, was born in Newark, Missouri and passed away at the home of his sister, Mrs. James W. Lapsley, at Keokuk, Iowa, where he was spending the winter. His wife preceded him in death on March 27, 1933.
He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. J.W. Lapsley, of Keokuk, Iowa, and Mrs. E.E. French, of Douglaston, New York, and one brother, C.A. Bowman, of Keokuk, Iowa, besides other relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held from the Mt. Sterling Methodist church Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 30, at 2 o'clock in charge of the Rev. M.E. Hayes, pastor of the Keosauqua Methodist church. Interment was in the Mt. Sterling cemetery.
