James Albert Ely.

James Albert Ely, 75 years of age, passed away at his home 1007 South Main St., Fairfield, Iowa, Sunday morning, April 1, 1934. Death followed a long illness. He was a retired farmer who formerly lived southwest of Birmingham.

Mr. Ely is survived by his wife and two children, Mrs. Floy Miller, of Fairfield, and George, of Alberta, Canada.

A first wife preceded him in death about eight years ago.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon, April 4, at the Murry Funeral Home. Dr. U.S. Smith of the Methodist church was in charge. Burial was made in the Evergreen cemetery at Fairfield.
