David Rainey, of Bentonsport, died June 24, 1898, suddenly from heart failure at his home. He was born in Ireland in 1818, came to America in 1835 and most of his life ws spent in Iowa. About eight years ago he sold his farm in Henry county and moved to Farmington. Last year, with his wife, he moved to Bentonsport, where occured [sic] his death.
