Brady Twins Dead.

Lottie and Edna Brady, twin daughters of Mr. and Mrs. John Brady of Bonaparte were found dead in their crib Friday morning about 3 o'clock, their mother being the first to discover their condition. They were born August 20, one weighing eight, the other about 7 pounds. The small one did not thrive properly and it's death had been expected at different times, but the larger one, Lottie, appeared quite well.

Circumstances surrounding their death, and the fact that both were found dead at once and appeared to have died at practically the same time, led to a coroners investigation.

The inquest was held before Justice of the Peace C. L. George, acting corner, and a jury composed of J. I. Israel, E. Stadler, and Thos. Pender. County Attorney Harwood was present.

Dr. C. P. Schenck, the Brady family, and other witnesses were examined carefully, but no evidence was produced which in any manner showed criminal intent. The finding of the jury was that the deceased, Lottie and Edna Brady, had come to their death in a manner unknown to the jury.

The evidence showed that there were no marks or violence on the bodies of the babes, their faces gave evidence of no pain, and their bodies were clean. They were warmly clad.

The sudden death of one babe is not a matter of mystery, there being several natural causes which may contribute to the same. The death of the twins at practically the same time is what caused the investigation, Dr. Schenck being unable to give a death certificate until the investigation had been made.

Mr. and Mrs. Brady have been married eight years and are parents of eight children, five of whom are living. They reside in the Lawrence property on N. Texas St.
