Mrs. Walter Wixom

Della Haynes was born April 15, 1884 at Richland, Iowa and died at her home in Farmington April 23, 1936.

In 1903 she was married to Harvey Shoemaker, to which union four children were born. Mr. Shoemaker passed away April 6, 1916, June 29, 1921 she was united in marriage with Walter Wixom.

There are left to mourn her passing, one son, Willard Shoemaker, of Farmington; three daughters, Mrs. Irene Haffner, Farmington; Mrs. Nellie Schlicker, Donnellson; and fourteen grandchildren; her aged mother Mrs. Ellen Haynes, Farmington; and four brothers, Jesse Haynes, Farmington; Oscar Haynes, Bentonsport; John Haynes, Fairfield; and Fred Haynes, of Ringwood, Okla.; three sisters, Mrs. Henry Hott and Mrs. Albert [Elbert] Duncan, of Hillsboro; and Mrs. Harvey Scearcy, of Lockridge. Her father and one sister preceded her in death.

Funeral services are conducted Saturday afternoon at the church of the Nazarene in charge of the Rev. Horace Ireland, of Muscatine. Burial was in the Green Glade cemetery.
