Mrs. J. C. Maris.

Mrs. J. C. Maris died Thursday, September 4, at her home in Salem, Iowa. Funeral services were held Saturday can. She was born near Bonaparte in 1856 and when a child moved with her parents to Farmington.

In 1886 she married Jephthah M. Maris and with the exception of two years and North Dakota has recited in Salem since that time.

Her husband, one daughter, Mary, and two brothers, James Ogle of Missouri, and William Cornell of Bonaparte mourn for her and hold her and loving remembrance.
