MRS. CORA M. BICKEL
Mrs. Cora M. Bickel, 74, of 1124 Hammond avenue, died at 6 a.m. Saturday Oct 1, 1960 at the St Joseph hospital following a lengthy illness.
The daughter of Franklin and Alice Millikan Darby, she was born October 9 1885, at Villisca. She was married January 9, 1907, to William H. Bickel in Davis county. She had lived in Ottumwa for 20 years.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Orville Thomas of Agency, and Mrs. Maurice Rump, Ottumwa.
three sons, Marvin Bickel, Albia, Oramel Bickel, Ottumwa, and Clyde Bickel, Burbank, Calif.; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, and a brother Charles Darby, Colorado Springs Colo.She was preceded in death by her husband on June 21, 1957, by two sons, Frank, July 29, 1937 and William, Sept. 27, 1938, a daughter Lucille, Tue. April 4, 1950, and a sister, Mrs. Ina Thompson, Feb 24, 1956, and three half-sisters.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Johnzgson funeral chapel. Burial will be in Pulaski cemetery in Pulaski.
