MORTUARY
WILLIAM CASADY

William Casady was born in Indiana, May 31, 1829, and died at his home at Milton, Iowa, Feb. 4, 1904, at 7:[3]0 a.m. He was married to Joanna Davis, Oct. 21, 1856, and to them three children were born: Elmer B. Casady, Unionville, Mo.; Alvin H. Casady, Milton, and Mrs. Addie Norval, Corydon, Iowa. Ten years ago Mr. Casady united with the Christian church. Last July his wife died and since that time Mr. Casady has been in poor health. His demise however, came as a surprise as he was not thought to be in unusually poor health.

The funeral services were conducted from the Christian Church at Milton Saturday at 1:30 p.m., Rev. I. T. LeBaron, the pastor, preaching the funeral sermon. The services were in charge of the Masons and the K. P.s of whom Mr. Casady was a valued member.

Thus another old family passes off the scene of earthly activity. Death is no respector--"Dust thou art to dust returnest."
