OBITUARY
Opal Pruitt, the only daughter of Carl and Minnie Pundt, was born April 13, 1902, and died Oct. 3, 1920, at Des Jarden Hospital, Lincoln, Neb., aged 18 years, 5 months and 20 days. She was married to Lawrence Pruitt, Feb. 18, 1920. She was converted and united with the Upton M. E. church Feb. 25, 1917. She was a good, obedient and loving daughter, always counseling with her mother in all things.
During her sickness everything was done that loving hands could do to regain health. At her own request a journey was begun to another climate but in her weakened condition, she was unable to reach her destination. The spirit took its flight at 10:30 o'clock, Sunday morning, to be with the Heavenly Father.
Besides her husband she leaves her mother and one brother, with many relatives and friends to mourn.
The funeral services were conducted in the M. E. church in Cantril by Rev. R. V. Felt and the body tenderly laid in the Cantril cemetery.
