Miss Caroline S. Wright was born in England, May 29, 1914. When a child she came with her parents to New York City, where they remained about ten years; then moved west to Cincinnati, Ohio, where she has ever since made her home. She has been an invalid for about ten years and has made her home for the past six months with her niece, Mrs. F.M. Townsend, where she died, December 17, 1901, at the ripe old age of 87 years, 6 months and 18 days.

Miss Wright had a strong mind and took an active interest in the country in general, but now she has gone from the midst and the places so familiar to her will know her no more. Tenderly we lay away the warm body in the lap of mother earth, to await the morning of her resurrection, and the spirtihas gone to God who will gave it. Thus, again, we are forcibly reminded of our own mortality.-We too, must soon be transferred from the swiftly passing scene of transient activity.

Short funeral services were conducted at the home, where she died, by Pastor Thos. Ratcliffe, Thursday morning, 19th Inst. Mr. and Mrs. F.M. Townsend and Mrs. Mills took the body to Cincinnati, Ohio, for burial.
