Robert J. Orr, 34, of Keosauqua, died June 15, 2014, at University Hospital, Iowa City. He was born July 15, 1979, in Ottumwa. Robert graduated from Van Buren High School and worked as a nurse aide at Good Samaritan Society-Van Buren and at Village Cup & Cakes, both in Keosauqua, and at Hy-Vee in Fairfield.

Surviving are his parents, Larry E. and Darlene Brown Orr of Keosauqua, a sister, Christina Peck (Mathew), and a niece, Kaylee Peck of Luray, MO, his grandmother, Donna Brown of Keosauqua, and his pet dog and best friend, Lola. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bruce Brown and John and Marjorie Orr.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 A.M. Thursday June 19, 2014, at Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua, Rev. Douglas Harding officiating. Visitation will open at 3 PM. Wednesday at the funeral home with family present 5 to 7 P.M. Burial will be in Lebanon Cemetery west of Keosauqua. Gifts to a memorial to be designated later by the family may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at 816 Country Lane Road, Keosauqua, IA 52565.
