Lester O. Cross

Lester O. Cross, of Fairfield, died in Jefferson county hospital at 4:25 a.m., October 8.

A native of Van Buren county, Cross was born May 22, 1904, the son of Bert and Cora E. Martin Cross. On August 6, 1927, he was married to Irene E. Curl. They were married at Fairfield. Cross was a member of the First Baptists church and of the FOE.

Last rites were held at the Weston Behner funeral home in Fairfield, at 2 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Harold T. Rache, pastor of the Free Methodist church officiated, with burial in Evergreen cemetery.
