Mrs. Ezra J. Williams, 60, passed away this morning at 4:20 a.m. at the home where she was born, three miles northeast of Birmingham. Death came after a lingering illness from a heart ailment.
Services will be held at the Birmingham Methodist church Friday afternoon at 2 p.m. with burial in the Maple Hill cemetery. The body is at the Catcott Funeral Home.
Mrs. Esther Bonnett Williams, daughter of Henry and Rose Bonnett was born July 9, 1882. On March 14, 1907, she was married to Ezra J. Williams at her home in Birmingham. To them were born two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Rose Unkrich of Birmingham and Mrs. Margaret Esther Arthur, of Randalia, Ia., both of whom, with her husband, survive. Three grandchildren also survive as well as one sister, Miss Blythe Bonnett of Davenport. She had been a member of the Birmingham Methodist church, since early childhood.
