AZEN- Mrs. Rosa Schirch was buried at Prairie View Wednesday at 2 p.m. She fell May 21 and broke a 12-inch sliver off of the left femur bone and laid out on the cold, damp ground, in the rain, for eight hours before she was found and could be moved to the hospital.

She was 80 years old, and the doctors operated, fastening the bone together with three screws and a silver wire, but pneumonia developed almost at once from exposure and other complications.
