Walter Sullivan

Walter Sullivan, a former resident of Clark County, died Saturday, June 14, at his home in Moline, Ill., after an illness of two years. He was 65 years old.

Walter Sullivan was born November 27, 1886,in Acasto, Mo. He was married to Miss Cloie B. Heath in Anson, Mo., on February 1, 1906. In 1925 he moved to Keokuk, Iowa and latter to Moline, Ill.

Surviving in addition to his widow are two sons, Lee and Robert Sullivan, and a daughter, Mrs. Blanche Dunn, all of Moline. He is also survived by one uncle, two aunts and several cousins. His father and mother, David and Amelia Sullivan preceded him in death, as did also two brothers and four grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mr. Sullivan were held Tuesday, June 17, in the Esterdahl Chapel in Moline, with Dr. Ray Honeywell conducting the services. Burial was in Moline Memorial Park cemetery.

Among those attending the funeral were: Glenn Kennedy, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Sullivan of Kahoka; J.H. Sullivan, Fred Weller, Tony Sherry, Mt. Sterling; Mr. and Mrs. Joes Gares, Effie Vornkahl, Mary Von Seggen, Bud Coffin, Farmington.
