MRS. A. G. ROBERTS

Mrs. Margaret E. Roberts, widow of the late A. G. Roberts, died at a Kirksville, Mo., hospital.

Mrs. Roberts, 75, was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. R. Vale, pioneers in the Bonaparte community. She attended school in Bonaparte, attended Normal school in Keosauqua and taught in the Primary rooms of the Bonaparte school.

Mr. Roberts preceded her in death about a year ago. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. R. W. Winslow, Bonaparte; a son, Rex A. Roberts, Groton, Mass.; one granddaughter, Anne Winslow; two sisters, Mrs. Regina Tedford, Mt. Ayr and Miss Mary Vale, Mt. Pleasant, Iowa; one brother, Bruce R. Vale, Bonaparte and other relatives.

Funeral services were held Saturday from the Presbyterian Church there with the Rev. C. F. McMican officiating. Burial in Vale cemetery.
