WOLFE, PACE, MEYERS, MITCHELL

Mrs. Mary Wolfe

Mary Adella Pace daughter of Hester Ann and John J. Pace was born Aug. 5, 1863 at Pittsburgh, Iowa.

She passed from this life April 4, 1938 at her home in Farmington at the age of 75 years, 7 months and 29 days.

She came to Vernon, Iowa with her parents when a small child and resided there until 1881 when she was united in marriage to Thomas Jefferson Wolfe, who preceded her in death. To this union six children were born: Mrs. Lulu E. Meyers of Peoria, Illinois; Jacob W. Wolfe, Farmington, Iowa; Mrs. Katherine Mitchell of Milton, Iowa; Darrell J. Wolfe of Donnellson, Iowa and one who passed away in infancy.

Of later years she made her home in Farmington. She united with the Methodist church in her early life. She was a loyal and devoted mother a loving neighbor and friend. Her sweet, sunny disposition endeared her to all who knew her She leaves to mourn her loss, the five children, sixteen grandchildren, one great grandchild a host of other relatives and friends. She was associated with the Woman's Benefit Association of Peoria, Illinois for 20 years.

Funeral services were held in the Farmington Methodist church Thursday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Harvey E. Butler, pastor conducted the services.

The body was laid to rest in the Green Glade Cemetery at Farmington.
