Aged Resident of Roscoe Dies Friday Evening

Labon Ellsworth Wright, aged 68, died at his home in Roscoe at 5:15 o'clock last evening form complications. He had been in poor health for the past two years.

He was born in Virginia tp. May 26, 1861. He lived in Roscoe for several years and later moved to Muskingum co. For the past five years he had been living in Roscoe.

Mr. Wright was married three times. His first wife was Elizabeth LeRetilley, whom he married in November, 1888. One son, Paul, who died in infancy, was born to this union, and the mother died shortly afterward. He was next married to Emma Stull in the fall of 1893 and to this union was born one daughter, Jessie Wright, who resides at the late home. His second wife died in 1896, and he was married again, this time to Miss Mary Lapp, in the fall of 1896. She preceded him to the grave June 15, 1928.

Mr. Wright was a faithful member of the Roscoe M.E. church for years.

Besides her daughter, a step-daughter Mrs. A.R. McKitrick of Akron, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Roscoe M.E. church Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock in charge of Rev. C.H. Roe of Roscoe. Burial will be made in the Roscoe cemetery.
