George A. Rigler, passed away at his home at 10:30 p.m., July 18. Born November 5, 1882, at Bonaparte, Iowa, son of Frederick and Margaret Rigler, he was born and raised on the Rigler place, which has been in the Rigler family since homesteading.

On June 18, 1909 he was married to Mary Carr of Centerville, Iowa, in the St. Boniface church in Farmington, Iowa.

He was an honest, highly respected citizen, a breeder of thoroughbred Black Angus Cattle, chicken fancier and bee man.

Survivors are his wife, Mary; one brother, Charles at Mission, Texas; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services were held at 9 a.m. Wednesday, in St. Boniface Catholic church, Farmington, Iowa. Burial in Bonaparte cemetery. Rosary at Azbells funeral parlors 8 p.m. Tuesday.
