Laura Malinda Kelly, youngest daughter of Joshua P. and Elizabeth Kelly, was born Oct. 25, 1882, near Farmington, Iowa, and departed this life in Riverview Nursing Home in Farmington, Iowa, Oct. 14, 1954 at 8:25 a.m., at the age of 71 years, 11 months and 19 days.

On March 7, 1909 she was married to Charles C. Roth. They settled on a farm near Farmington. She lived near Farmington all of her life.

She joined the Baptist church in March, 1954. She loved her church and was a faithful member.

Funeral services were held from the Baptist church Saturday, Oct. 16 at 2 p.m., with Rev. Harry McKinney officiating. Burial was in Greenglade cemetery.
