Elmer Neally

Elmer Neally, of Bonaparte, died quite suddenly about 5:30 Sunday morning of a heart attack at the home of his cousin, Mrs. Charles Kuttruff, where he had been taken following an attack at his home the previous Thursday. Since the death of his wife, the former Gertrude Perkins, and his mother-in-law Mrs. Ella Perkins, he had been living alone taking much pride in the appearance of his home and grounds.

Funeral services Wednesday afternoon at the Methodist church of which he was a member, conducted by pastor, Rev. J. S. Ellis. Interment in Bonaparte cemetery.

Elmer Neally, 75, was a son of Mr. and Mrs. William Neally, former residents of Bonaparte.

Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Lois Sedgwick, of Monmouth, Ill., and two brothers Walter of Monmouth, and Lloyd of Idaho.

For several years he was employed at Bonaparte as a stone mason with the Steadman Bros. Later he and his wife moved to Moline, Ill., there he had employment in a farm implement factory.
