Octavia Anna Page, age 71 years, passed away at 7:15 Wednesday evening, Feb. 13, 1952, at the Mercy hospital in Iowa City after a short illness.

She was the daughter of Arthur and Anna Endersby and was born in Harrisburg township, Van Buren county, Iowa on Sept. 18, 1880. She was united in marriage to John R. page of Mt. Pleasant on Oct. 22, 1908, who survives.

To this union were born two children, a son, Arthur of Hillsboro and a daughter Patti Campbell of Ottumwa. Her entire married life was spent in Hillsboro community where she and her husband were engaged in the grocery and meat business for 43 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and nine brothers. Left to mourn her passing are her husband, two children, four grandchildren, a brother Ren Endersby of Hillsboro and several nephews and nieces.

She was a member of the Hillsboro Baptist church from which funeral services conducted by Rev. Edwin Skoglund were held Saturday, Feb. 16 at 2 p.m.

Mrs. Edna Tade and Miss Patty Lantz, accompanied by Mrs. Irene Hoaglin sang "The Old Rugged Cross" and "In The Garden". Pallbearers were Elmer Johnson, Lem Standley, Phil Hixon, Howard Tade, Joe Wilson and Fred Williamson. Interment in the Hillsboro cemetery.
