MRS. STELLA METZGER FUNERAL SUNDAY

Mrs. Stella Marcissus Metzger, was born September 23, 1890 and passed away at her home in Farmington late Wednesday night, August 5, 1942, following a long period of failing health.

She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Zane and had lived the most of her life in this community. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Mayme, and one brother, Alfred.

Surviving are one son, Zane Metzger in California; one daughter, Mrs. James Ryan of Farmington; one brother, Bonnie Zane; two sisters, Mrs. Carl Hafner and Mrs. Charles Philips of Farmington and several nephews and nieces.

Funeral services were held at the Farmington Methodist church Sunday afternoon at two o’clock, conducted by a reader from the Scientist church of Keokuk. Interment was in McDaniels cemetery.
