SARAH JANE MUNFORD

Sarah Jane Munford, only child of Peter and Phebe Norry, was born Sept. 18, 1975, and died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Forrest Rider in Farmington, Dec. 13, 1943.

She was married to Wm. Marshall in 1893 and to this union three children were born. Her husband, two children and an adopted son preceded her in death.. In 1910 she married Ernest Munford and to this union, four children were born. In 1940 her husband died.

Those left to mourn her passing are the following children, Mrs. Forrest Rider, Mrs. Dale Jannings, Mrs. Louis Carter, J. Ed Munford, Elzie Marshall, Ross Munford, Oliver Munford and Victor Munford, all of Farmington and vicinity, Mrs. Otis Shriver of Chicago, Mrs. Chas. Sturgis of Peoria, Ill. She leaves 26 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 15 at 2 o’clock in the Farmington Methodist church with Rev. W. H. Gunn of the Latter Day Saint church of Ft. Madison officiating. Burial was in Anson cemetery.
