MCCLURG, ROBERTS, OVERMAN, HILL

Mrs. F. M. McClurg

Margaret Josephine McClurg, daughter of A. W. and Carolyn Roberts, was born in Keosauqua March 5, 1880 and passed from this life at her home in Keosauqua, april 25, 1952.

Sept. 26, 1906 she was united in marriage to Dr. Frank McClurg. To this union was born one son Haven McClurg.

She has always lived in this community and is a member of the Congregational church, Chapter I. of P. E. O. and Daughters of the American Revolution.

She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband, Dr. Frank McClurg, one son, Dr. Haven McClurg of Fairfield, Iowa; three brothers, Frank Roberts of San Diego, Calif., C. M. Roberts of South Pasadena, Calif. and Dr, Ralph Roberts of San Diego, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Roy S. Overman of Keosauqua; one niece, Carolyn Hill of Omaha, Nebr., and two grand nieces, Carol and Joan Hill and a host of friends and neighbors.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon in the Congregational church and interment was in the Purdom cemetery, Rev. Homer E. Dalrymple officiating. The chapter of the D. A. R. placed a marker at the grave side.
