POPEJOY FATHER OF 4.

Fairfield. - Hartzell Coleman Popejoy, 36, a resident of Fairfield for the paast 10 years and father of four children, died at 4 a.m. today in the Burlington hospital of injuries sustained several hours earlier in an explosion at the Burlington ordnance plant.

He was born May 29, 1905, at Colfax, Ill., and was married September 20, 1928, to Myrtle Wamsley. He had been a machinist on the plant's production line for the laast three months.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Betty, Marjorie and Edith, and a son, Glenn, all at home; his mother, Mrs. Mary Colman, Colfax, Ill., a brother and three sisters.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Weston Behner Funeral home in Fairfield, conducted by the Rev. S.P. Williamson. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
