Mrs. Jessie Stewart

Mrs. Jessie E. Stewart, 77, died suddenly at her home in Anson community at 7 p.m. Friday, June 29.

Born August 12, 1879, in the Anson vicinity, she was employed as a telephone operator as long as Anson had an exchange.

Her husband, George Stewart, preceded her in death.

Surviving are a son, Russell, of Warsaw, and a daughter, Mrs. Mildred Hartman of Rockford, Ill.

The funeral was held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in the Anson Community church with burial in the Anson cemetery.
