KIND, AGED WOMAN PASSED AWAY SUNDAY

Miss Mary Handlon, 81, a long time resident of Clark county, Mo., living for many years near Acasto, died at St. Joseph’s hospital in Keokuk, Iowa, Sunday, January 31, 1943, where she had been a patient the past week.

The body was brought to the Karle Funeral Home here.

The funeral was held at 10 o’clock this (Tuesday) morning from St. Michael’s Catholic church, conducted by Rev. Fr. Purcell. Burial was at Acasto.

She was an aunt of Leo Handlon of this city and a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Michael Handlon, old residents of western Grant township, near Acasto.
